CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with hands-on Swiss machining and Vertical Lathe experience to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CNC setup, operation, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and precision measurement, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss machines and Vertical Lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality
• Perform tool changes and basic tooling adjustments
• Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Maintain tight tolerances and consistent production quality
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
• Hands-on experience with CNC Swiss machines
• Experience operating and setting up Vertical Lathes
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Experience making offsets and adjustments at the machine
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Manufacturing or machining experience in a precision environment preferred
