Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join a custom fabrication team in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible for setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathes and mills to manufacture one-of-a-kind architectural metal components with exceptional precision and craftsmanship.

The ideal CNC Machinist has extensive experience with CNC machining, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement while thriving in a custom job-shop environment where every project is unique.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 3+ years of CNC machining experience required
Experience with HAAS controls strongly preferred
Ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
Experience making tool offsets and editing CNC programs at the machine
Manual machining experience with mills and lathes required
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Proficient with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges
High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and mills to produce parts to print
Load, run, and adjust CNC programs while making tool offsets and minor edits as needed
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding setups while verifying alignment before production
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
Complete setup documentation and first-article inspection records
Operate manual mills and lathes for prototypes, specialty work, and short production runs
Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, drilling, tapping, and milling operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specifications
Maintain quality documentation and report non-conformances promptly
Keep work areas clean and organized while reporting maintenance concerns
Collaborate with fabrication teams and leadership to coordinate workflow and resolve issues
Support continuous improvement efforts related to efficiency, scrap reduction, and process consistency
Preferred Qualifications
Experience machining aluminum, brass, bronze, and other non-ferrous metals
Familiarity with Fusion 360 or other CAM software
Background in custom fabrication or job-shop manufacturing
Technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Ability to safely work around machinery, metal materials, and cutting fluids
Required use of PPE including eye and hearing protection
Work Environment
Custom fabrication and machine shop environment
Exposure to CNC machinery, manual machining equipment, cutting fluids, and production noise
Fast-paced setting requiring precision, adaptability, and craftsmanship
