CNC Machinist - Must-Have Requirements
Previous CNC machining experience required
Experience with HAAS controls
Experience with Fanuc controls
Experience setting up CNC milling machines
Experience with horizontal and/or vertical machining
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and measurements
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
CNC Machinist - Position Summary
Experienced CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling equipment to produce precision parts according to blueprints, specifications, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HAAS and Fanuc controls and be comfortable performing milling setups.
Set tools, offsets, work coordinates, and fixtures
Operate machines using HAAS and Fanuc controls
Perform horizontal and vertical machining
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Select appropriate tooling and cutting parameters
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain part quality
Perform basic troubleshooting and make setup corrections
Monitor machine operation and production
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow established safety and quality procedures
