CNC Machinist Role in Gresham, OR

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Gresham, OR. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to produce precision parts for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and blueprints.
  • Monitor CNC machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with aerospace tolerances and standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and accurate inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and troubleshoot any operational challenges.
  • Accurately document production processes, including machine settings, tool changes, and output data.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in aerospace manufacturing is required.· Proven experience in producing precision parts for aerospace applications, with knowledge of aerospace materials and tolerances.· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.· Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.· Flexibility to work swing shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.· Knowledge of safety regulations and aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) is a plus, but training will be provided.
