Job Description

CNC Machinist
$28.00–$40.00/hour

Join our growing team as a Machinist and bring your skills to a fast-paced, high-energy job shop where every day brings something new. This is not repetitive production work — you’ll be producing low-to-medium volume, high-mix parts to tight tolerances while taking on a wide variety of challenging, hands-on projects that keep your work interesting.

We’re looking for a motivated machinist who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and doing the job right. If you have strong machining fundamentals, can read blueprints, and enjoy seeing your skills make a real impact, this is the place to challenge yourself, sharpen your craft, and grow your career with a team that values quality work.

Key responsibilities include:
• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills and lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
• Make tooling offsets and basic program adjustments
• Troubleshoot issues and work with supervisors and engineers
• Maintain documentation, inspection records, and a clean, safe work area

Ideal background:
• 2+ years of machinist experience in a machine shop or job shop preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machining
• Familiarity with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience with G-code, ERP systems, or quality systems such as ISO/AS9100 is a plus
