    CNC Maintenance Repair Technician – 2nd Shift

    Syracuse, NY | Full-Time | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Repair Technician to support a high-performance manufacturing operation. This role is critical to ensuring uptime, precision, and reliability across complex CNC equipment and production systems.

    What You'll Do

    You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC equipment and industrial systems, including:

    • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical failures
    • Disassembling equipment, identifying root causes, and rebuilding systems
    • Interpreting complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals
    • Working with:
      • PLC logic (ladder diagrams)
      • Machine programming basics (M-code/G-code)
    • Performing electrical testing and diagnostics
    • Troubleshooting printed circuit boards and control systems
    • Adjusting machines to meet precise operating specifications
    • Supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts
    • Escalating complex or unusual issues to leadership when needed

    What You Bring

    Required:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Journeyman-level OR 3+ years CNC maintenance/repair experience
    • Strong experience with:
      • Ladder logic / PLC troubleshooting
      • Motor controls and industrial schematics
      • Blueprint reading
    • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

    Preferred:

    • 4+ years CNC maintenance experience
    • Background in machining environments
    • Experience with hydraulics systems
    • Associate degree in electronics or military technical experience

    Location & Relocation

    • Based onsite in Syracuse, NY
