A manufacturing and supply company is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and consistency of CNC machining operations through proactive and corrective maintenance on various systems. Openings are available on both first and second shifts with additional overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, schedule, and perform preventive maintenance tasks for CNC equipment following manufacturer and plant protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance activities, equipment service, and logs.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues on CNC machines using root-cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
  • Conduct component repairs/replacements, inspect, align, and calibrate CNC machine parts for optimal performance, and collaborate with PLC and CNC controls for operational testing.
  • Recommend enhancements or adjustments to improve machine reliability, efficiency, and safety, and contribute to process improvement projects in cross-functional teams.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and local regulations during equipment repairs.
  • Provide technical support to operators and production staff on machine operation and maintenance, and assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new CNC machinery.
