Description

Lead Cnc MachinistLead and develop production supervisors, CNC programmers, machinists, and production associates. Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee daily machine shop operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. Monitor and improve KPIs related to quality, delivery, productivity, safety, and equipment utilization. Balance production schedules, staffing, and resources to meet customer demand. Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness initiatives. Partner with engineering, quality, planning, and operations teams to resolve production challenges. Lead capital equipment planning, justification, and implementation initiatives. Drive process improvements and support long-term operational growth.Ideal candidate: 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a CNC machine shop environment. Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, lathes, and precision machining operations. Proven leadership experience within a contract manufacturing environment. Experience managing supervisors, programmers, machinists, and production teams. Demonstrated success leading CAPEX and equipment investment projects. Strong operational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
