Description

Job TitleSupport CNC machining operations and provide technical expertise to the machine shopDevelop, review, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product qualityAnalyze tooling, equipment, and workflow requirements to enhance production capabilitiesCreate and maintain engineering documentation, including work instructions and mechanical drawingsImplement and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to identify root causes and drive improvementsDesign fixtures and tooling using CAD softwareRecommend and support new equipment acquisition, installation, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices, including optimized work cell layoutsTrain manufacturing personnel on updated processes and best practicesSupport new product introduction by evaluating manufacturability and resource requirementsReview and disposition non-conforming materials in collaboration with quality teamsProvide input on production planning, cost estimates, and manufacturing feasibilityThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)At least 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environmentStrong hands-on experience with CNC machining processes and equipmentFamiliarity with CAD software and fixture/tooling designExperience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiativesAbility to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement effective solutionsStrong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of engineering change management processes (ECOs)Experience working in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments is highly preferredDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical settingWhat's on OfferCompetitive compensation package with strong health, dental, and vision benefits401(k) program with immediate vesting and company matchGenerous PTO plus 11 paid holidays annuallyTuition reimbursement and student loan repayment supportPaid family leave benefitsOpportunities for career growth, skill development, and advancementExposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and mission-critical productsCollaborative and supportive work environmentFlexible scheduling options, including compressed work weeks (where applicable)Contact Delaney Sandner Quote job ref JN-072026-7058470
