    Description

    CNC Manufacturing Engineer

    The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

    • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products.
    • Create and maintain CNC programs using CAM software and support machine setup and troubleshooting activities.
    • Design and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize scrap.
    • Select and evaluate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding solutions to maximize machining efficiency.
    • Support new product introductions (NPI) through process development, validation, and production readiness activities.
    • Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve quality, throughput, and equipment utilization.
    • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
    • Generate and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process sheets, FMEAs, and control plans.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts related to machining and manufacturing challenges.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

    The successful applicant:

    • Has a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Has 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a machining or industrial manufacturing environment.
    • Has hands-on experience supporting CNC milling and/or turning operations.
    • Is proficient with CNC programming and CAM software.
    • Has a strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing best practices.
    • Has experience troubleshooting machining, tooling, and process-related issues.
    • Has knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Has strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Has excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
