    Description

    Your day shaping complex parts

Picture this: you arrive at our New Kensington, PA facility and open a new customer model. You translate requirements into a clear machining plan, sketch a quick fixture concept, and spin up a first-pass toolpath in Mastercam or HyperMill. By mid-morning you’re reviewing step-over and tool selection with a machinist, then editing G-code to optimize a 5-axis cycle on a horizontal mill. After lunch you finalize documentation, confirm process controls, and hand off a fully traceable package that hits quality and the deadline.

    What you’ll own

    • Interpret customer drawings/models and define part requirements and machining strategies
    • Design and develop fixtures and custom tooling for vertical and horizontal platforms
    • Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn equipment; read and edit G-code as needed
    • Collaborate with production engineering to standardize work, establish process controls, and generate clear documentation
    • Select cutting tools, validate setups, and manage projects from programming through production to meet customer timelines
    • Use metrology tools to verify parts and close the loop on process improvements

    What you bring

    • 5+ years of CNC experience in a controlled industry (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.)
    • Fluency in CNC CAM (MasterCAM and/or HyperMill preferred)
    • Solid modeling experience; SolidWorks strongly preferred
    • Comfort editing and reading G-code
    • Hands-on background with CNC machines, measuring tools, handheld and power tools
    • Strong print-reading skills and practical use of GD&T
    • Proficiency in MS Office

    Tools & tech you’ll touch

    • CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC)
