Make precision your signature

Join a team where complex tool room challenges meet disciplined programming. Your mission: transform engineering intent into robust CNC processes that deliver tight-tolerance parts reliably and efficiently.

Imagine this scenario

You receive a complex, multi-operation part. You study the drawing and GD&T, choose the optimal workholding, and build a smart Mastercam strategy. You set up the mill or lathe, establish feeds and speeds for the alloy, run the first piece, verify critical features, and tune the process until quality, safety, and cycle time are in harmony. Then you document, hand off, and support production with confidence.

What you will own

  • End-to-end CNC programming and setup for milling and turning from engineering prints.
  • Efficient Mastercam toolpath development focused on cycle-time and tool-life optimization.
  • Selection of tooling, fixtures, and workholding to achieve tight tolerances.
  • Refinement of feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies by material and geometry.
  • Real-time troubleshooting of machining, tooling, and program issues at the machine.
  • First-article and in-process inspections to confirm parts meet specification.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, and machining efficiency.
  • Tool room and production support with high accountability and ownership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must-have qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience on mills and lathes.
  • Advanced proficiency with Mastercam.
  • Demonstrated success machining precision components to tight tolerances.
  • Expert blueprint reading, including GD&T.
  • Proven ability to optimize and troubleshoot programs and setups.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred profile

  • Tool room or R&D prototype machining experience.
  • Background with complex geometries and multi-operation parts.
  • Strong understanding of workholding, fixturing, and process planning.

How you will make an impact

Your judgement at the machine and inside Mastercam will reduce cycle times, elevate part quality, and strengthen the safety culture—multiplying results across the shop.
