We're looking for a top-level CNC Mazak Integrex Programmer / Setup Machinist to join our team. This is a low-volume, high-mix, precision manufacturing environment, every day brings a new setup and a new challenge. What You'll Do
Program and set up Mazak Integrex mill-turn machines using Mazatrol conversational programming to run complex, tight-tolerance parts
Create and proof new CNC programs, and optimize existing programs for efficiency and cycle time
Complete full setups for low-volume, high-mix production; hand off to operators once machines are running
Select cutting tools and apply knowledge of feeds, speeds, and tool life optimization
Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions to plan machining sequences
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm part quality
Troubleshoot machining issues at the control to keep production running smoothly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What You Bring
5+ years of experience programming and setting up Mazak Integrex (twin-spindle) mill-turn equipment in a low-volume, high-mix environment
Proficiency with Mazatrol Smooth conversational programming
Experience machining precision, tight-tolerance parts, including jaw cutting
Solid understanding of cutting tools, metal properties, and mill operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T
Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced shop
Strong geometry and analytical math skills for calculating tool paths, feed rates, and speeds
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in manufacturing, machining, or engineering technology a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Must currently reside in the Houston area, or be relocating on a confirmed timeline within the next few weeks
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with overtime available before 6:00 AM and on weekends
Pay: $30–$45/hour, based on experience
