CNC Mazak Set up Tech / Programmer

• Set up machines, modify the program as necessary, install tool registers, and offsets
• Install fixtures, make machine control settings, and run first pieces sample parts
• Monitor the machine, detect malfunctionsand make adjustments as needed to control the process
• Must be able to take a blue print to a machine and write a program in Mazatrol or G code, and follow through with the set up.
• Mazatrol versions T-32, T+, Fusion and Matrix control / Smooth Control
• Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints

Qualifications:

• High School or GED Diploma
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment
• Familiar with use 2, 3 & 4 axis lathes on the floor. Live tooling and Y axis is a huge plus but not a must have
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience preferred
• Proficient with G-Code
• Proficient with M-Code
• Proficient with Production Set-ups
• Proficient with PLC Troubleshooting
• Proficient with PLC Programming
• Experience with CNC Lathe (2-4 Axis) (Mazak)
• Experience with CAM Software
• CNC Swiss Lathe (Star)
• PLC
