We are hiring experienced CNC manufacturing professionals for multiple positions on both day and night shifts. Opportunities are available for CNC Mill Operators, CNC Lathe Operators, Horizontal Mill Operators, and a Lead CNC Setup Mechanic.
Candidates should have hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to inspect parts and make adjustments to maintain quality and production requirements.
CNC Machinist Must-Have Requirements
- Previous CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or horizontal mills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and height gauges
- Ability to perform in-process and final inspections
- Strong understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds, tooling, and offsets
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
CNC Machinist Position Summary
The CNC Machinist will operate and monitor CNC equipment to produce precision components according to blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making machine adjustments, changing tooling, inspecting finished parts, and troubleshooting machining issues.
Positions are available for experienced operators with backgrounds in CNC milling, CNC turning, and horizontal machining.
CNC Machinist Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and/or horizontal mills
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components
- Set and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and cutting parameters
- Change tooling and make minor machine adjustments as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Monitor machine operation and identify tooling, quality, or production issues
- Maintain required production rates while meeting quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
CNC Machinist Additional Qualifications
- Experience with Haas, Mazak, Mori Seiki, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls is preferred
- Experience with multi-axis machining is a plus
- Experience with CNC setup is highly preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make appropriate adjustments
- Experience working with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other industrial materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
Lead CNC Setup Mechanic Must-Have Requirements
- Extensive CNC machining and setup experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, and/or horizontal machining centers
- Ability to independently set up machines from start to finish
- Strong blueprint and GD&T reading skills
- Experience selecting tooling and establishing feeds, speeds, and offsets
- Ability to troubleshoot complex machining and setup issues
- Strong knowledge of inspection equipment and machining quality requirements
- Leadership or mentoring experience in a CNC manufacturing environment preferred
