Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift)
Pay: $23–$30/hour DOE
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Training on 1st Shift Required)

Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Must-Have Requirements

• Proven CNC machining experience (mills and lathes required)
• Ability to set up and run CNC machines independently
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work 2nd shift with minimal supervision
• Willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Position Summary

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines (Mazak preferred)
• Produce precision parts to tight tolerances in a production environment
• Work independently to maintain quality, efficiency, and production flow
• Support a fast-paced machining operation with complex parts

Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Select tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for production jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain machine performance through basic preventive maintenance
• Monitor part quality and ensure compliance with specifications
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Document production and quality checks as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Experienced CNC Machinist – Mazak / Mill & Lathe (2nd Shift) – Additional Qualifications

• Mazak, Haas, or multi-axis machining experience strongly preferred
• 5-axis or complex setup experience is a plus
• Aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
• Experience with high-mix / low-volume production environments
• Ability to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time preferred
