    Description

    Position Summary

    ATP is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to support our oilfield operations. This position is responsible for running the CNC Mill.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with CNC mills, a strong understanding of oilfield threading standards, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

    Schedule Monday -Friday 7 AM -2:30 PM 

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Set up, operate, and run CNC milling machines with minimal supervision

    · Machine oil and gas accessories and components to tight tolerances

    · Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

    · Work with API, Premium threads, and other oilfield threading standards

    · Modify, edit, and optimize CNC programs at the machine as needed

    · Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials

    · Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency

    · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

    · Follow all shop safety and quality procedures

    Required Qualifications:

    · Minimum of 10 years of CNC milling experience in a machine shop environment

    · Strong, broad knowledge of CNC mill operations (setup through production)

    · Proven experience machining oil and gas components or similar precision parts

    · Familiarity with threads and oilfield specifications

    · Ability to independently run jobs from print to completion

    · Experience editing and modifying CNC programs (G-code or conversational, as applicable)

    · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

    · Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Experience with multiple CNC mill controls (e.g., Fanuc, Okuma OSP)

    · Experience with 3-Axis and 4-Axis machines

    · Knowledge of various materials used in oil and gas applications

    · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
