Job Details
What You'll Do:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling operations
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machining centers for new and existing jobs
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding equipment
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to determine machining processes
Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
Perform in-process and final inspections using standard measuring equipment
Complete production documentation and maintain accurate manufacturing records
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic preventative maintenance activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Operate material-handling equipment as required
Qualifications:
Technical school training in machining technology or 2-5 years of recent experience in a precision machining environment
Minimum 3 years of CNC milling experience
Demonstrated experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, models, and manufacturing specifications
Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurement conversions
Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
