We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating 3-axis vertical mills with Fanuc controls and possess a strong understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and GD&T. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC 3-axis vertical milling machines.
Work with Fanuc controls to run production and custom parts.
Set tool heights and work offsets accurately.
Use edge finders and precision measuring tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience required.
Experience with 3-axis vertical mills.
Proficient with Fanuc controls.
Strong understanding of GD&T.
Experience setting tool heights and work offsets.
Ability to use an edge finder and common measuring instruments.
Must be able to read and accurately use a tape measure.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 40 pounds or more and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.
