Job Title: Night Shift CNC Mill Operator
Location:Houma
We are currently hiring an experienced Night Shift CNC Mill Operator for a well-established manufacturing and machine shop facility in the Houma area. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled machinist seeking competitive pay, a consistent 4-day workweek, and additional overtime opportunities based on production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Edit offsets, make tool changes, and perform machine adjustments as needed
- Machine parts to exact tolerances and quality standards
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
- Maintain accurate production records and job documentation
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Additional shifts and overtime as needed based on workflow
