Job Title: Night Shift CNC Mill Operator Location:Houma
We are currently hiring an experienced Night Shift CNC Mill Operator for a well-established manufacturing and machine shop facility in the Houma area. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled machinist seeking competitive pay, a consistent 4-day workweek, and additional overtime opportunities based on production needs.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts and components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Edit offsets, make tool changes, and perform machine adjustments as needed
Machine parts to exact tolerances and quality standards
Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
Maintain accurate production records and job documentation
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Additional shifts and overtime as needed based on workflow
