Job Overview

Responsibilities
As a CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Operator, you will:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines
• Work with 3-axis, 4-axis, 3+2, and horizontal milling centers
• Perform tooling setups and make tool offset adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet tight tolerance requirements
• Maintain machine accuracy and quality throughout production
• Troubleshoot machining issues as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and production standards
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support quality and efficiency

Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:

• 10+ years of hands-on CNC milling experience
• Strong CNC programming, setup, and operating experience
• Ability to independently perform machine setups
• Experience making tool offsets and tooling adjustments
• Strong understanding of CNC milling, tooling, and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience holding tight tolerances in a precision machining environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• G-code programming experience
• CAM software experience
• Experience with prototype or low-volume precision machining
• Experience in a certified or high-quality CNC machine shop environment
