Seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Operator on 1st Shift to join our team in an air-conditioned facility. The position is Monday – Friday from 7am - 3:30pm and there is OT available.
Duties/Responsibilities
·Set up mill machine according to work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings also, install and adjust magnetic chucks, tools, and attachments.
·Verifying settings such as measuring positions, the first run part, and sample parts.
·Inspecting parts for accurate dimensions per work instructions and maintains operation specifications.
·Maintain the equipment per preventive maintenance requirements.
·Maintain a safe work environment by following and complying with the safety procedures and regulations.
·Lifting material up to 50lbs.
·Document and communicate plans among work shifts to maintain continuity in the workplace.
·Participate in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge
2nd shift premium pay
Qualifications
CNC Machining Experience: 3 plus years (Preferred)
