About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and mill-turns within tight tolerances using work instructions, CNC programs, and engineering drawings.
- Perform complex machining on a range of metals, maintaining very close tolerances throughout progressive operations.
- Replace dull tooling and make minor offsets/adjustments to account for tool wear.
- Own the quality of your parts (OOQ): measure with appropriate instruments, interpret results, and take action to maintain specs.
- Complete daily machine checklists and follow the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Perform hand finishing as required.
- Follow GMP/GDP at all times, including accurate completion of job routers/cards.
- Work safely and proactively identify/report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
- Hit productivity goals and suggest improvements to increase throughput.
- Log all work promptly in the job tracking system.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Escalate manufacturing issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor and assist with resolutions.
- Maintain strong 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Take on other duties or special projects as assigned.
What You Bring
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
Preferred
- Associate’s degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or completion of a machinist apprenticeship
- Production manufacturing experience
- GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only)

Work Environment
You’ll work in a production environment operating CNC machines. We strive to keep work areas organized and safe so you can perform at your best.
Physical Requirements
Expect periods of standing and frequent walking; regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching; and talking or hearing. You may also sit; climb/balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs is required. Vision needs may include close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
