Own the cut. Elevate precision. Earn a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Picture your first hour: you review a work order, prep a VMC, and align the longer side of the cup with a Machinist Square. You rough mill the minor axis of tips, peel away material around the cup, and bring the part to life. After cleaning, dial calipers confirm the cup’s length and width match spec. Your first piece passes inspection — production flows.

Your impact

  • Deliver accurate milling of the minor axis of tips and remove excess cup material to blueprint tolerances.
  • Keep machines running correctly by inspecting setups/programs and validating cup width and stock OD with calipers.
  • Maintain safe, consistent execution: load part, close door, run, clean, and verify.
  • Champion quality by obtaining First Piece Inspection before proceeding.
  • Support throughput by moving among cell machines as priorities shift.

Skills that set you up for success

  • Minimum age: 18.
  • Robust mechanical and technical capability.
  • Fluency in reading blueprints and routings.
  • Hands-on proficiency with GD&T, CNC tooling, G-Code, and CNC machine setup/changeover.

Tools of the trade

3–4 axis vertical machining centers such as Mazak, Okuma, DMG Mori Seiki, Fanuc, and Haas.
