We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to the production of top-quality products. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen technical mind, a passion for precision, and a strong desire to create and innovate within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for:

1. Setting up and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
2. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, drawings, and designs to determine the machining process.
3. Using Mastercam software to program, set up, and operate the CNC milling machines.
4. Measuring and inspecting parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure products meet quality standards.
5. Selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
6. Monitoring and adjusting machine feeds and speeds for optimal performance.
7. Conducting regular maintenance checks on machinery and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
8. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
9. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role of a CNC Milling Machinist, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using Mastercam software and operating CNC milling machines.
3. Familiarity with precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
4. The ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and designs.
5. Strong technical and mechanical skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent qualification. A degree or certificate in a relevant field from a vocational school is preferred.
