CNC Milling Programmer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining CNC programs for milling operations, as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of CNC milling equipment and programming and be comfortable working with Mastercam and/or G-code.

A background in aerospace manufacturing is not required; candidates with relevant CNC milling and programming experience in other manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and write CNC programs for milling operations.
  • Develop new programs using Mastercam and/or G-code.
  • Modify and reprogram existing parts based on engineering revisions, design changes, and updated specifications.
  • Review and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and machining efficiencies.
  • Create and maintain finished assembly setup sheets and tooling lists.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Supervisor to support production requirements and resolve programming or machining challenges.
  • Ensure CNC programs are accurate, efficient, and aligned with quality and production standards.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize machining processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall productivity.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 3 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC milling machines and machining processes.
  • Ability to independently write and modify CNC programs.
  • Experience with Mastercam and/or G-code.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, revisions, and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing and production teams.
  • Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.
