You'll machine complex, tight-tolerance components for the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and medical industries while working in a shop that invests in advanced technology, high-quality equipment, and skilled machinists.
We're looking for setup machinists who can confidently own the entire setup process - from reading blueprints and G-code to loading tooling, setting offsets, proving out first articles, and making machine-side program adjustments before releasing jobs into production.
Compensation
- $30-$45/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do:
- Perform complete setups on CNC milling machines.
- Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and edit G-code directly at the machine.
- Load tooling, set work and tool offsets.
- Prove out first articles and make program, tooling, and offset adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, setup sheets, and work instructions.
- Inspect first-piece parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, workholding, cutter compensation, feeds and speeds, and program execution.
- Produce tight-tolerance components while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of complex CNC milling setup experience.
- Fluent in G-code with the ability to confidently read, troubleshoot, and edit programs at the machine.
- Experience loading tooling, setting work and tool offsets, and proving out new jobs.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
- Experience performing first article inspections and making setup modifications.
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Experience machining aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, or other tight-tolerance components is highly preferred.
