From first machine warm-up to final part check, you’ll keep multiple CNC assets running smoothly while delivering precise, high-quality components. You’ll set up and load CNC mills, lathes, and multitasking equipment, fine-tune programs to hit blueprint specs, and move seamlessly between machines to maintain flow. What you’ll do
Set up, load, and operate CNC equipment across mills, lathes, and multitasking platforms
Oversee several machines at once to keep production moving efficiently
Load, edit, and adjust programs to sustain part quality and throughput
Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances
Run in-process inspections to ensure parts meet blueprint requirements
Troubleshoot minor issues; escalate major malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
Maintain coolant, monitor tooling wear, and keep machines and work area clean
Handle material loading/unloading and transfer parts between machines
Adhere to all safety procedures and company quality standards
Record production data, inspections, and any deviations
Qualifications
Hands-on experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist (preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Comfort with precision measurement tools and inspection methods
Basic familiarity with G-code or CNC machine controls (preferred; not required depending on level)
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
