Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC/NC Programmer with strong experience in CNC programming, multi-axis machining, CAM programming, and machining process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize NC programs for CNC Milling, Turning, Mill-Turn, and Multi-Axis machining centers.
Generate toolpaths using CAM software such as NX CAM, Mastercam, CATIA Manufacturing, Creo Manufacturing, or PowerMill.
Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Create setup sheets, tooling documentation, machining process sheets, and operator instructions.
Select machining strategies, cutting tools, workholding, and optimize cutting parameters.
Validate NC programs through simulation to ensure collision-free and efficient machining.
Support machine prove-outs, first-piece manufacturing, and production troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams.
Analyze and reduce machining cycle times through continuous process optimization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years of CNC/NC Programming experience.
Strong experience with 3-Axis, 4-Axis, and 5-Axis CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and Mill-Turn operations.
Hands-on experience with NX CAM, Mastercam, CATIA Manufacturing, Creo Manufacturing, or PowerMill.
Experience with CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Mazatrol.
Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
Experience with Vericut, NCSimul, or similar NC verification software is preferred.
Experience machining castings, forgings, weldments, and precision-machined components is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
