Infra-Metals is seeking a CNC Burning Machine Operator to join our team. As a leading steel service center, we specialize in value-added processing and distribution of metal products nationwide. This role is responsible for setting up and operating plate burning equipment (Plasma or Oxy-Fuel) to produce high-quality steel products. The ideal candidate has experience in a steel or fabrication environment, is safety-focused, reliable, and takes pride in their work

Job Function:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plate burning machines to meet required specifications.
- Ensure all cuts meet size and tolerance requirements per processing work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions.
- Accurately use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
- Safely use manual hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
- Operate overhead cranes and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete production goals.
- Perform additional warehouse duties or special projects as assigned.
- Experience in a steel service center or fabrication environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
- Must be dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Able to work any assigned shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Physically able to stand, lift, climb, and perform warehouse tasks.
- Strong team player with a positive, motivated attitude.
- Other duties as assigned.
