CNC Operator
Shift: 1st, (7:30am-4pm)
Pay: $19-$22/hr (Based on experience)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines and lathes, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality inspections, and ensuring parts are produced to precise specifications.
Job Description:
- Set up CNC milling machines and CNC lathes by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and specifications.
- Verify machine setups and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient production.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain quality standards throughout production runs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications.
- Ensure finished parts meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
- Inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring instruments, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Bore gauges
- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Document measurements and identify any quality concerns.
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and accuracy.
