CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Victory Tool is looking for an experienced CNC Operator/Setup Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. This is a setup-heavy machining position in a custom tool and die environment. We build one-of-a-kind tooling, so this is not a repetitive production machining job.

This is NOT a "button-pusher" position.

We are looking for someone who can set up, operate, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to CNC machines independently. Our machinists work on a wide variety of jobs and are expected to understand what the machine is doing and why.

You will typically be responsible for running 2–3 CNC machines simultaneously, depending on the work being performed.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers
• Load tools, set work offsets, and make tool/wear adjustments
• Prove out and troubleshoot programs
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment
• Work with a variety of materials and complex tool and die components
• Run multiple machines efficiently while maintaining quality
• Communicate with the programming, engineering, and toolroom teams
• Help identify and resolve machining problems

What We're Looking For

• CNC machining experience, preferably in tool and die, mold, or other custom machining
• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines
• Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• A problem-solving mindset

Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controller experience is a plus.

Experience with both CNC setup and operation is important.
