Job Title: CNC Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Olive Branch, MS 38654 (100% Onsite)
Pay rate: $20.50/hr ($19.00/hr Base + $1.50/hr Shift Differential)
Work schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM CST (40.0 hours/week)

Overview
The CNC Operator sets up and operates CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components at Hubbell Incorporated's Olive Branch, MS facility. Working 2nd shift, this role reads blueprints, loads raw materials, performs test runs, and monitors machine operations. The position is responsible for conducting quality inspections using precision measurement tools, executing daily maintenance checks, maintaining production routers, and adhering strictly to safety protocols.

Job Specifications

• Prepare, set up, and operate CNC equipment (mills and lathes) for precision machining tasks including drilling and milling
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, technical documents, and job routers
• Load raw materials and workpieces onto machinery, perform test runs, and adjust machine controls for optimal operational results
• Inspect and measure finished components using precision measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify product specifications
• Execute daily maintenance routines and safety checks on CNC machinery and equipment
• Maintain accurate production logs, job routers, and operational documentation
• Keep work areas organized and clean while complying with 5S and safety standards
• Assist with team scheduling, cross-training, and workflow coordination as assigned
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Trade school certificate or diploma in Machining/CNC Technology preferred
• Proven hands-on experience operating CNC machinery (mills and lathes) required
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and using precision measurement tools (calipers) required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required
