CNC Operator

Hiring for CNC / Machine Operator in Bloomington, IN.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: Based on experience, range from $16.00 - $25.00 an hour.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating CNC machines with established setups, ensuring quality production, and performing basic inspections. Candidates with advanced CNC experience will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate assigned CNC machines using pre-established setups
• Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
• Start and monitor machine cycles
• Perform visual inspections and basic part checks
• Use inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Preferred / Advanced Skills (Based on Experience)

• Perform tool changes and adjust offsets
• Conduct full part inspections
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Understand and work within specified tolerances

Qualifications

• Basic CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to read and use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Previous machine operator experience.
