Job Description

Pro Resources is seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift CNC Operators for a client in Bremen, IN. The CNC Operator under minimal supervision will produce machined parts by understanding/modifying Fanuc based programs, complete tool set-up/change-over and operating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Swiss Type machines. Responsibilities will include change-overs, performing tool changes, set up machines, making adjustments to the machines, loading bar stocks, operation of machines, troubleshooting and inspection of parts coming off the machine. 

Shift and Compensation 
  • 2nd and 3rd Shift
  • Compensation is from 37,440 USD to 45,760 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Must be able to learn and understand programming logic 
  • Understand in blueprint reading / geometric tolerance interpretation 
  • Adjust machine set-ups (tool changes, chucking force, etc) and programs
           (offset, dwell, rpm, feed-rate, etc) 
  • Maintain equipment by cleaning machine, assisting in lube, & clean out scrap bins.
  • Complete statistical data sheets.
  • Operate 6+ machines.
  • Troubleshoot including minor maintenance: Be able to replace main parts
           (collets, guide bushings, belts, ejection rods, toggles, etc) 
  • May operate End Cut machines along with CNC machines.
Background Profile
  • Minimum one year of CNC Swiss type automatic lathe experience 
  • Prior experience with Fanuc program controls and edits (M code and G code). 
  • Detail oriented & able to multi-task
  • Math skills required up to algebra level
  • High School Diploma Required
