A Brief Overview
The CNC Operator will set up and operate machines to produce precision parts. This person will ensure the setup and operation is efficient, safe, and produces quality products. A high degree of problem-solving and extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required.
What you will do
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Operate vacuum lift for loading CNC machine
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer''s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Works in a safe manner always and consistently provide a safe work environment.
- Ensures adherence to all State and Federal guidelines and Industry regulations
