The CNC Operator ensures efficient, high-quality production by operating machinery such as lathes, milling machines, CNC equipment, and grinders based on blueprints and work instructions.
- Follow all safety policies, train others on safe practices, and identify equipment hazards.
- Set up and monitor CNC machines, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor adjustments.
- Use gauges and measuring tools to verify tolerances, conduct inspections, and perform manual operations when needed.
- Adhere to quality standards, complete documentation, and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior CNC experience, ability to interpret technical documents, and strong mechanical problem-solving skills.
The role requires reliability, discipline, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with shifts available in 2nd and 3rd shifts. Safety, quality, and efficiency are key priorities.
