Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Eldridge, IA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift available, Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Express Employment is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a manufacturing company in Eldridge, IA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC single-spindle lathe machines, including bar-fed and chuck-style equipment
  • Set up and verify correct tooling, feed tubes, and materials
  • Load 4' bar stock into bar feeders; use hoists for materials over 40 lbs
  • Monitor machine operation and perform in-process inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong understanding of machine safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to perform calculations using fractions and decimals
  • Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of CNC lathe operating experience preferred
