Set up and operate NC and CNC equipment in the fabrication department to produce parts according to print and specifications.
Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments, edit programs as needed, and sharpen punches/dies throughout production.
Requires technical education, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience. Must communicate in English, have intermediate shop math skills, and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning.
Basic computer skills for data entry are necessary.
The role involves medium physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
The work environment is a manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery hazards. Work hours are typically Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 5 PM, with potential overtime and schedule changes. Reasonable accommodations are considered for individuals with disabilities.
