We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious CNC Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Lewis, KS. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for producing hydraulic components in accordance with specifications to achieve consistent customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
Set up machine (calibration, cleaning, etc.) per documented work instructions or other requirements to start a production cycle.
Control and adjust machine settings as required.
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automate machines.
Inspect parts with precision tools, test the operation of machines periodically and maintain a machine activity log.
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Check output to spot any machine related mistake or flaws.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines as needed.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machines.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements of the CNC Machine Operator:
High School Diploma and/or GED.
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
3+ years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
Experience as a manual machine operator is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Attention to detail and precision in work.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Strong commitment to safety protocols.
Ability to lift 50lbs
