Position Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for the full operation of our Okuma Horizontal Milling Center. The CNC Operator will collaborate with cross-functional departments and contribute to the smooth, efficient operation of our organization.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a positive, motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working on a variety of projects. Key qualifications may include:

Prior experience running Okuma equipment Ability to interpret engineering drawings Experience with basic G-code, Mastercam CAM, and SolidWorks (or similar software) Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate an Okuma Horizontal Milling Center Read and interpret engineering part drawings Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and depth micrometers Input and adjust tool offsets Inspect, clean, and pack finished products Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets Perform other duties as assigned or as business needs require

Qualifications

Technical college training a plus; High School diploma or equivalent required Ability to work with minimal supervision Team player with the ability to work independently Self-starter with a proactive work approach Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Knowledge of set-up, tooling, and fixtures Experience with basic G-code interpretation and understanding Experience with Okuma Horizontal Milling Centers preferred Familiarity with Mastercam CAM and SolidWorks or similar programming software Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
