CNC Operator II Mukilteo, WA (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=11600+49th+Place+West+Mukilteo+WA+USA+98275) Job Type Full-time Description OVERVIEW Cadrex is searching for a CNC Operator II to operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components as either as a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies + Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes + Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices + Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools + Operates lift equipment as needed + Uses precision measuring tools as required + Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed + Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required + Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspects + Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead + Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations + Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets + Proficiently set up CNC machines by loading tools, fixtures, and materials. Verify machine settings and program parameters for accuracy Requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Proven experience as a CNC Operator with at least 2-3 years of experience in CNC machining operations + 3+ years working in an Aerospace & Defense manufacturing environment + Proficient in machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments. Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus + Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and CNC machine operation + Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work + Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure + Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team + Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required + Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment + Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds EDUCATION + Highschool Diploma LOCATION + Onsite SCHEDULE + M-F WORK ENVIRONMENT + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
