We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to operate CNC lathes used to produce precision components. This position will focus on maintaining production levels, monitoring part quality, making tooling changes, and keeping equipment running efficiently.

Pay: $20-$25/hour + $2/hour night shift premium

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Night Shift: Monday-Friday | 4:30 PM-2:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to produce parts according to specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and part specifications.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify part dimensions.
• Change tools, drills, and inserts as needed.
• Identify basic machine or tooling issues and take appropriate action.
• Keep machines stocked with required production materials.
• Perform routine cleaning, oiling, and basic machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with supervisors and production team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC lathe experience required.
• 1-3 years of CNC machining or related experience preferred.
• Experience with Tsugami or other Swiss-type CNC machines is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, pin gauges, comparators, profilometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for CNC machine operation and basic maintenance.
