Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, quality control, and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.

Experience Requirements

• Previous CNC Machine Operator experience required.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment and producing parts to specification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Dependable work history with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, raw materials, machining processes, and in-process inspections preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, move, and position materials and finished products.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following safety procedures and production standards.
• Strong visual attention to detail for inspecting parts and identifying defects.

Job Duties

• Operate CNC machines and manufacturing equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications.
• Load raw materials, position stock, and perform machine operations following job instructions and production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain production rates while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Perform in-process inspections, record production data, and complete required documentation.
• Deburr, oil, inspect, and package finished parts into designated containers, pallets, or baskets.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.
• Identify, tag, and report non-conforming materials or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain equipment, keep work areas clean and organized, and support general housekeeping efforts.
• Assist with additional production duties and cross-training opportunities as assigned.

What You Will Do

As a CNC Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.
