    Description

    I am recruiting for a CNC Operator/Programmer in the Lakewood, NJ. area.

    The pay range for this position is $25 to $35 per hour Depending on Experience.

    The schedule is Monday to Friday 7 am-3:30 pm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Development:

    Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations (milling, turning, etc.) using CAD/CAM software.
    Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to generate accurate machine code.
    Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials and operations.
    Ensure programs are efficient and minimize waste while meeting production deadlines.
    Setup and Testing:

    Collaborate with machinists to set up CNC machines for initial runs.
    Conduct test runs and adjust programs as necessary to achieve desired results.
    Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to maintain product quality and machine efficiency.
    Quality Assurance:

    Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
    Make adjustments to programs or machine settings to correct deviations from quality standards.
    Document and maintain records of programming changes, machine settings, and quality checks.
    Collaboration and Communication:

    Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
    Provide technical support and training to operators on the proper use of CNC programs and equipment.
    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce cycle times.
    Maintenance and Documentation:

    Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
    Maintain up-to-date documentation of CNC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets.
    Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in CNC programming and machining techniques.
