CNC Machinist – Boardman, OH
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator for a confidential manufacturing company located in the Youngstown, Ohio area. This is a full-time opportunity on first shift. This position is responsible for operating a CNC router table to cut materials according to work orders and specifications. We are looking for someone who can follow instructions, select correct materials, monitor machine performance, and ensure quality output.

Schedule:
1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm 

Pay:

Starting at $20.00 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload CNC equipment (Haas with Fanuc controls)

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to guide machining setup and inspection

  • Operate CNC machinery in MDI mode. 

  • Enter and run pre-set machine programs

  • Minimize raw material waste by controlling offcuts 

  • Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to verify part accuracy and quality

  • Set up and change tooling as needed

  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy 

  • Communicate with programmers, production planners, and supervisors to maintain schedules and resolve issues

  • Minimize raw material waste through effective offcut management

  • Identify and communicate potential quality issues to appropriate personnel

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

  • 2+ years of CNC machine operation and setup experience

  • Previous CNC or machine operation experience preferred (router experience a plus) preferred 

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

  • Comfortable working with both imperial and metric systems
