Job Description
Our client is seeking a CNC Operator / Setup Operator to support production by setting up and operating CNC machines to fabricate parts to exact specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Setup
Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, grinding, and related tasks
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Adjust machine settings to meet production requirements
Quality & Inspection
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Use measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
Maintain accuracy and consistency in all work performed
Maintenance & Safety
Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition
Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
Experience operating CNC machines required
Knowledge of Fanuc controls preferred
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
Forklift experience is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
