JOB PURPOSE      

The CNC Operator will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to operate HAAS CNC mills and Bridgeport manual milling machine to produce a reliable, airworthy product while providing the highest quality of workmanship. 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:

  • Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
  • Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and CAD designs
  • Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery

Ideal candidates will offer:

  • Technical degree or CNC machining certification preferred
  • Experienced as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling
  • Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
  • Detailed with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation: $27-$30

Location: Van Nuys, CA
