Position Summary:
The Entry-Level CNC Operator assists in setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in accordance with specifications. This role is designed for individuals with basic CNC knowledge or recent graduates from technical programs, providing hands-on experience under supervision. For the right candidate, this can evolve into a career, not just a job.
Requirements
Machine Operation:
Load raw materials and monitor CNC machine operations.
Follow established programs and instructions to ensure accurate machining.
Basic Setup & Adjustments:
Assist with machine setup and tool changes under guidance.
Verify part dimensions using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
Quality Assurance:
Inspect parts for defects and report discrepancies.
Maintain accurate production records.
Safety & Maintenance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Perform basic machine cleaning and report any maintenance needs.
