Shape Flight-Critical Parts. Grow Your Career.

Imagine starting your shift in a climate-controlled facility, badge in, review your machine status board, and open the day’s blueprints and process sheets. You mount freshly machined chuck jaws, lock tooling into the turret, upload a program, and dial in offsets to hold tight tolerances. A quick first-piece inspection with preset gauges confirms you’re on target. You record results in our ERP system, collaborate with a programmer and your supervisor to fine-tune a tricky feature, then rotate to another work center to support the team. By day’s end, you’ve produced precision components that go into engine systems, flight controls, landing gear, and airframe structures used by major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers, and aircraft operators worldwide.

About Regal Rexnord Aerospace

We’re part of Regal Rexnord’s rapidly growing Aerospace & Defense business, supplying high‑performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears, and electrical components for commercial air transport markets. Join a winning team where your work quite literally helps keep aircraft in the sky.

What you’ll do

  • Set up and run multiple CNC machines (lathe, mill, and/or resistance spot welding) to perform turning, drilling, milling, tapping, or spot welding within demanding tolerances.
  • Work from process sheets, setup sheets/cards, blueprints, machine status boards, and clear verbal/written instructions.
  • Machine, install, or re‑cut chuck jaws; insert and secure tooling in machine turrets; use hand tools and manual machines when needed.
  • Download/upload CNC programs and make minor program edits; adjust offsets for material, tooling, and machine conditions.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and throughput.
  • Set and verify preset gauges for proper calibration; inspect your own work and, at times, the work of other machinists; complete all required documentation.
  • Operate multiple machines and rotate through various department work centers as production needs shift.

  • Enter production and quality data into the ERP system.
  • Load and unload component piece parts up to 25 lbs.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience plus strong knowledge of CNC machining principles and methods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Able to read/interpret English work instructions and blueprints; solid basic math skills.
  • External candidates must pass a Machinist test that measures mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs; frequent handling of light materials while setting up, inspecting, and adjusting machines.
